Beatrice Nelson, of North Little Rock, an Assistant
Project Manager at Alltel Communications, Inc. in Little Rock, was
awarded “2004 Chapter Member of the Year” by the
Central Arkansas Chapter of Project Management Institute. Bea
performed an outstanding job of organizing the PMP Certification
Prep classes. The Spring 2004 class was an overwhelming success
under her direction.

June Thomas, of Little Rock,

Manager for Northrop Grumman Information Technology in Little Rock
was recognized for “Meritorious Service” by the Central
Arkansas Chapter of Project Management Institute. Serving in the
capacity of Vice President of Programs for the Chapter, June was
outstanding in finding speakers who were interesting, educational,
and provided insight into how businesses in Central Arkansas handle
Project Management.
