Summer Seminar

  • When:  Monday , June 16, 2008

  • Where:  Crowne Plaza Hotel, 201 S. Shackleford Rd., Little Rock

  • Topic:  “Maximizing Project Value with Change and Stakeholder Management”

  • Who:  Jeff Berman, best selling author, will present case studies, classroom exercises and real-life examples on how to put the emphasis on value when managing a project.  (8 PDU’s)

Registration for this one-day event is $350 per student.

  • Who:  Lee Lambert, PMP and PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year will present a one-of-a-kind program to demonstrate how managers can utilize simple tools and techniques to accomplish organizational objectives.  (8 PDU’s)

Chapter Volunteer Opportunities

Educational Events
  Project Management Basics – Several persons needed to develop curriculum for a basic Project Management course. Responsible for preparing class outlines and class materials. May also participate in the selection/coordination of teachers, or participate directly in the delivery of the class. Contact Bea Nelson.
PDU’s Earned for this activity: Ten per activity for content development. (Category 2G)

Chapter Support
  Chapter Meeting Committee – Assists the V.P. for Programs with chapter meetings. Greet members at local meetings; assist members with signing in; assist with AV set-up for speakers; other duties as defined by V.P. for Programs. Contact Mavis Jones.

PDU’s Earned for this activity: Five per activity.
