The PMI Central Arkansas Chapter (CACPMI) holds monthly lunch meetings that provide education and opportunities for networking with other in the project management profession. CACPMI also sponsors classes for preparing for the PMP examination, as well as workshops, seminars, and an annual conference throughout the year for members and non-members alike.  Attending one of the programs or events is a good opportunity for prospective members to meet professionals involved in project management and to learn more about the profession.

Our next meeting is is June 13, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at ITT Technical Institute, 12200 Westhaven Dr, Little Rock, ARClick here for a map.  Or, we have 2 remote meeting sites available:  Acxiom in Conway (Tom.Straight@acxiom.com) and Windstream in Little Rock (for FIS and Windstream employees) (adrian.cable@windstream.com)! 

TOPIC:   Gain the Willing Cooperation of Others!  Do you need to inspire those around you to come together and take action? The key is winning them to your way of thinking. The tools provided in this seminar will help you to lead the way by building consensus. Become more persuasive and influence others through trust and respect. If you need to develop a confident, enthusiastic take-charge attitude, this seminar is for you!  (Note: the materials are proprietary and will not be posted to our website after the meeting.)

SPEAKER: Scott Dutile, Performance Consultant and Trainer, Dale Carnegie Training.  Scott has been with Dale Carnegie since 2010. His scope of responsibilities includes new business development and promoting the enhancement of leadership skills with partnering companies. He is also a Dale Carnegie Certified Trainer and has been consistently ranked in the top 5 trainers worldwide since joining the team. He graduated from Harding University in May 2006. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and majored in Marketing.

Do you work with project managers that are not PMI Central Arkansas chapter members?  Invite them to come along with you this month.  Come network with project managers from a variety of industries! Guests are welcome!  Lunch is provided!
